Janna Vloet

Financial Consultant

Janna Vloet joined Northwest Financial Advisors (NWFA) as a Financial Consultant in May of 2025. She chose a career in financial services because she strives to make a difference in the lives of families in her community. She specializes in complex retirement planning, tax mitigation strategies, investment planning and wealth transfer strategies. She wants to make sure clients feel heard and that we understand their unique story.

Prior to joining NWFA, Janna worked at Navy Federal Credit Union and Edward Jones. With over ten years of financial service experience, she helps clients understand the investment world in relatable terms and to focus on what is most important to them.

Janna’s passion for financial planning comes from her experiences after losing her father at 18. Her mother was a military wife with no investment experience. It was with the help of a financial advisor that her mother was able to set up her financial future into her retirement years. She wants to help families like her own prepare for the unexpected and become a pillar of strength for families in uncertain times.

She graduated from James Madison University in 2010 with a business degree and creative writing minor. In addition to her college education, she earned her FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses* and a Virginia Life, Health and Annuities license.

Outside of work, Janna enjoys spending time with her husband, Kerry, and their two corgis. The couple loves having game nights with friends and spending nights in with a great show. When she gets out of the house, she likes testing out all the great restaurants that Northern Virginia has to offer.
